Queen City Cats

I recently had the opportunity to connect with a few of the residents of Queen City Cats, an amazing rescue organization working to improve the lives of lost, abandoned, and stray cats in the Burlington, VT area and beyond.

Like many rescue animals, these kitties have had traumatic pasts. It was truly an honor to spend time with them and help them articulate what will help them feel safe, happy, and comfortable in a new home.

Juniper:

  • Likes to watch birds out the window

  • Wants to keep her name

  • Prefers to be around happiness

  • Wants someone to give their whole heart

  • Wants to be treated like a queen

Gob:

  • Likes fine art, wants “something pleasing to the eyes” to stare at

  • Dislikes cat carriers

  • Wants to live in a big house where he can wander in every room

  • Wants to be admired

Dax:

  • Loves going outside and climbing trees

  • Slightly confused by humans

  • Bonded with his brother Maxwell

  • Needs freedom and trust

  • Likes comfortable surfaces

  • Wants an automated cat feeder

All three of these beauties are available for adoption. For now, Juniper and Dax are residing with foster pawrents, while Gob is living at the Queen City Cat Lounge in Burlington, VT, a restorative space where visitors can experience the intrinsic benefits of interacting with cats, while promoting the rescue and care of local strays, reading, teleworking, lounging, laughing, shopping local, and even adopting.

I am offering a 20% discount on an animal communication session for all Queen City Cat adopters!
